Meelad Air sind ein jordanisches Unternehmen, welches sich auf die Vermarktung von Kapazitäten auf kurz- und langfristiger Basis von zwei MD-83 und einer A310 spezialisieren wollte. Es bestand zeitweise mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit ein Zusammenhang mit der MAP Jet. Es ist schwer einzustufen, ob Meelad Air nun eine reine Leasinggesellschaft sind oder ein Anbieter von Flugzeugen im ACMI-Verfahren, wie es z.B.  JetX angeboten hat.

Meelad Air beschreibt sich wie folgt auf ihrem Internetauftritt:

The company fleet consist of two aircraft type  McDonnell Douglas MD-83 and one Airbus 310 With the introduction of the new Airbus, Meelad air is set on its expansion course for long-range customers, adding more flexibility to its current middle-range service covered by our MD-83; expanding in big and fast steps toward our goals.
